The Waterfall Map

Add or correct a fall

The Waterfall Map is built on open public data. Most fixes belong upstream — and once they're in, they flow into our next monthly refresh automatically.

For factual corrections

Coordinates wrong? Name misspelled? Missing fall? The right place to fix it is OpenStreetMap — that's our base source of truth. Anyone can edit OSM with a free account.

For richer factual content (heights, descriptions, photos), edit the fall's article on Wikipedia or the Wikidata entity. Photos belong on Wikimedia Commons under a Creative Commons license.

For site bugs or quick reports

If something's clearly broken on our end (a broken link, a wrong attribution, a fall rendered weirdly), reach out via the contact page with the URL and a short note.

Why we don't take direct submissions

Fixes that live in our private database tend to drift, lose attribution, and never make it back out to the people who use the open data. By routing changes through OSM / Wikipedia / Wikidata, every map and app that uses those sources benefits — not just us.
